Photograph album depicting the railroad lines of the Oregon Trunk Railway (operated by the Spokane, Portland, and Seattle Railway beginning in 1910) along the Columbia River and in central Oregon. The images were taken in Nov. 1911 and Apr. 1951 and depict the railroad's tracks, bridges, and freight trains, as well as sites along the railroad line such as the Crooked River Canyon; Celilo Falls; the Deschutes River; and the towns of Bend, Madras, Maupin, and Redmond, Or., among other subjects. Photographers include Kiser Photo Co. and Photo Art Studios of Portland, Or., among others.

The company was incorporated in 1909 to take over two existing, partially completed railroads: the Central Oregon Railroad Company and the Oregon Trunk Line, Inc. It completed those lines and built additional trackage aggregating 157 miles and linking the cities of Fallbridge (Wash.), Metolius (Ore.), Opal City (Ore.), and Bend (Ore.).
